Donations are checked against Revolve Quality Standards
All donations require attention when they arrive. Clothing will be sorted by size, gender & season & will then either be added to a referral pack, or will be tagged & pressed for sale in our shops. Toys & equipment will be checked to ensure they are clean, safe & complete, before being added to a referral pack, or offered for sale in our shops. All items are processed against strict Revolve Quality Standards to ensure our service users receive items which are clean, safe & functional.

Donations are given to those who need them
We work in partnership with health visitors, social workers & family support workers to provide children’s toys, clothing & equipment to families in need. We operate a referral system with these professionals, to ensure that help reaches those who need it most & to enable families to accept this support anonymously & without stigma. Our profits are used to subsidise these referral packs, meaning a child need never go without age appropriate underwear, seasonally appropriate footwear or a warm coat.

Donations are sold in our community shop
We offer a selection of your donations in our shop for a number of reasons but first & foremost these sales safeguard the future of our services by paying the rent, insurance & utilities on our community bases. We strive to ensure that the items offered, represent excellent value for money, saving our customers at least 50% off the RRP. We pride ourselves on the presentation of our shops & in the customer service you receive from our staff & volunteers. We have developed a community space in each of our locations & our profits also enable us to offer this space either free of charge or at a subsidised rate, to small local businesses & community groups whose services compliment our aims & objectives of bringing families together to build communities & combat loneliness.
