At Babes in the wood, we understand the importance of community support & a sense of inclusion & belonging. This is why we are delighted to offer a number of ways for members of our community to come together with us & with others, within our weekly schedule.
THE COMMUNITY IS OUR PRIORITY
We offer members of the communities we serve, the opportunity to join our team as a volunteer & contribute to the services we provide on a regular basis. If you can spare just 3 hours per week & would like to make a meaningful difference, email info@babesinthewood.org for further details.
WE MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE
In our first year of operation we built relationships with a number of professional agencies in the Stirling area to enable us to support some of the most vulnerable members of the community. We provided packages of support via these agencies to lighten the load of low income families with children under 16 years old. These packs contain clothing, age appropriate toys or nursery equipment.
Our services also reduced the environmental impact of landfill waste as more than 40 tonnes of recycled goods were processed by our team across both of our locations.
We provide 8 paid posts & 14 voluntary posts across our 2 locations but as our services grow we would welcome more voluntary help. Apply below.
